Life.

Today we are reminded that life is both the longest and shortest thing we've ever known. 

The irony of a life being cut short is not lost on me, it's the longest thing that person had, but it's the rest of us, the ones feeling loss, sorrow and pain that feel it's brevity. 

"We are so young, we are so young we are only 22 years old. We have so much time" wrote Marina Keegan, followed by her death five short days later.

Time is relative, it can be as long or as short as you make it... but the truth is we never feel we have enough time. Someone always leaves us too soon. 

Today we are reminded life is a gift, roll over, pick up your phone and remind someone how deeply you care about them. Any life lost is tragic.
